To help streamline the workflow to create and edit templates we've implemented the following enhancements to our Template editor within the Ask Tool. Please review the below permission structure and functionality that will impact how templates are used.

- New "Created By" column will indicate the type of user (manager vs admin-created templates).
- Can now edit default templates, admin-created templates, and manager-created templates.
- Can delete admin- and manager-created templates.

- Assign templates to all locations in an account, one or more groups, or a single location.
- Clone admin-created templates.
- Clone manager-created templates, with the new template inheriting admin permissions while the original maintains manager permissions.
- When editing a manager-created template, admins can edit the content but can only assign permissions to locations that the manager had access to.

- Cannot edit default or admin-created templates.
- Can edit their own templates but not other manager-created templates.

- Cannot assign templates to all locations.
- Can assign templates to one or more groups or locations they have access to.
- Can clone admin-created templates, with the new template inheriting manager location permissions while the original maintains admin permissions.
- Can clone other manager-created templates, with the new template inheriting manager location permissions while the original maintains that manager’s permissions.

*Users do not have the ability to create or edit templates. They will be able to select templates assigned to locations they have access to from the dropdown on the Composer - this will not change.
